The Brief
Social Security Rights Victoria (SSRV) is a not for profit community legal centre that provides free legal services in relation to social security and Centrelink matters. Their website was tired and had very limited functionality, and it failed to clearly outline the benefits of their services to their often poorly educated and migrant client base. In short, they needed to turn their website into an effective selling tool that was more easily accessible, while having the ability to grow with the organisation from a functionality perspective. And of course, budget was very limited.
WHAT WE DID
After scoping out our client’s requirements and learning more about the organisation’s day-to-day role, we determined that the WordPress CMS would be the most efficient code base to build on. Our UX team simplified the navigational structure and key page content, before handing over to our digital designers for some further love and attention. Then once designs were approved, our developers got to work.
The end result is a user-friendly, WICAG considered website that is not only simple to navigate, but is also easy to edit and maintain.
