As brand guardians for Media Super, our long-term strategy is to build brand awareness and increase engagement with their members and broader industry audience. These are just a few of our projects from the past couple of years.
Yearbook/Annual Report 2015
Winner of ‘Website of the Year’ at the 2015 Financial Standard MAX Awards
Media Super were keen to try something new with their Annual Report and improve member engagement with this publication in both digital and print formats. Based around the idea of a ‘Yearbook’, we were able to create a concept, design and platform that integrated the company's achievements with that of its members.
Structured around an integrated marketing plan, we designed and built the ‘Yearbook’ to include member achievements, industry awards, community news and a timeline of highly publicised industry-related events entitled ‘The Year That Was’.
The financial sections of the site then gained more traction by presenting simple and specific superannuation information, based on relatable age brackets and earnings, with analytics showing that these sections had the second highest page views of the whole site.
Accompanied by a high quality printed edition, both the print and digital Yearbooks are now an annual project.
Casting Call microsite
Media Super is the industry super fund for a growing freelance industry and wanted to provide a digital space where members could upload their folios, maintain a public profile, and find potential partners or collaborators.
Media Super Videos
This ongoing project is to try and keep super simple. These videos engage members and employers on financial literacy, introduce the faces of the business and offer a friendly voice to often complex information. The Balibo House fundraising video was a pro-bono project between The Creative Works and Media Super with Mal Walden generously donating his time.
