As one of 6 winning proposals selected and funded by Beyond Blue and the Movember Foundation, our job was to combine innovative technology with evidence-based techniques to reduce the stigma associated with getting help for mental illness or depression.
Partnering with Incolink and Deakin University, our demographic was unemployed construction workers due to our combined experience and knowledge of the industry.
Data and industry analysis established that smartphones would be the best method of delivery for the program. Every communication had to be relatable, interactive, engaging and informative.
Originally designed as retail coupons, our digital member cards utilised an app available on all smartphones for use as a dynamic member card that housed essential information, helpful links and gave updates via ‘push notifications’.
A microsite housed all content including video, audio and interactive infographics, but had to allow for a staged rollout over a 6 month period. This required a custom built platform so that access was opened to each participating group sent via weekly tokens in dynamic text and wallet card updates.
